Because here's what happened just now: I ran out of paper. Three inches from the end. Three inches! Yes, I can patch together some scraps and make it to the finish line, but I will always know they're there, so it's not perfect, which I'm going to have to be a Buddhist about (i.e., just let it go), or I will drive myself nuts. It's a choice. I know that.
Even more on how perfect it isn't: I just noticed this morning that a couple of the panels whose seams look like zippers (as opposed to the ones done correctly, which are invisible) are actually upside down. The LOML and I better never have a fight because I will never be able to sleep in that room.
I know why this happened. I know why my wallpaper's all fucked up. It's because of that thing I said about the Rapture, isn't it?
